PUPPET COMPANY
CARLO COLLA & SONS
Orpheus puppet with music by Antonio Vivaldi
Exclusively for Orfeo Week, the Compagnia Carlo Colla & Figli will revive the production of Aristide di Grecia, based on Vivaldi's 1735 opera with a libretto by Goldoni. The opera recounts the adventures of the hero Aristide as he attempts to free his beloved Arsinoe from the Persian King Xerxes. This production combines elements of opera seria and opera buffa with comic exchanges and lively dialogue. The use of Commedia dell'Arte masks among the puppets, such as Harlequin and Colombina, adds a playful and parodistic touch, making the show an entertaining experience for all ages in perfect Baroque style.

Monday, November 25 - 7:00 PM
Teatro alle Vigne, Via Cavour 66 - Lodi
MASSIMO RECALCATI

Generative life, a voice that becomes a vocation. The limitless opening of the transcendence of desire. New words, new languages, new thoughts, new minds. Epochal figures transform the way we perceive ourselves, our way of being. Jesus and Freud, among others, are the icons of the past and present that Massimo Recalcati, one of Italy's most renowned psychoanalysts, will discuss. An evening dedicated to the icons of yesterday and tomorrow and their potential role in each of our journeys.

JORDI SAVALL
East and West
A great master of the Baroque, he dedicates a special evening to our festival, inspired by the diverse musical traditions throughout history. Oriente e Occident evokes the most beautiful melodies of the Christian, Islamic, and Judaic traditions to weave a symbolic, harmonious encounter between cultures. He is one of the greatest musical figures, and for more than fifty years he has been rediscovering musical gems abandoned in the darkness of indifference and oblivion, bringing them back to a new and authentic light with his touch.

TLON & MARINELLA SENATORE
Orpheus and the narrative dance
What would happen if we danced before thinking? Maybe life would be more spontaneous? Maybe our days would be filled with the unknown? And maybe it wouldn't even be so bad. Dance first, think later is a quote by Samuel Beckett that Marinella Senatore has transformed into a work of art. Together with philosophers Maura Gancitano and Andrea Colamedici, aka TLON, they will discuss how it is possible to imagine a world that moves in harmony, respecting others, our environment, and our community.

Sunday, December 1 - 5:00 PM
Santa Chiara Nuova, Via della Orfane 12 - Lodi
RAFFAELE PE & THE LYRE OF ORPHEUS
Love, you have won! - Antonio Vivaldi, chamber cantatas
Antonio Vivaldi's music has possessed the extraordinary and secret power to move the human soul for centuries. Despite centuries of oblivion, its irresistible success in modern times has confirmed its effectiveness beyond time and fashion. This concert by Raffaele Pe and La Lira di Orfeo, the final stop on a European tour that began at London's Wigmore Hall, offers a listen to the collection of chamber cantatas that the Red Priest composed for the Regent of the Duchy of Mantua, Philip of Hesse-Darmstadt. This little-known collection nevertheless expresses the full power of these melodies and the profound wisdom of a composer born only in the Baroque era.

Emotions are the seal of identity between body and mind; they reveal many fundamental aspects of ourselves that we need to learn to listen to. From this insight, we propose a training program dedicated to emotional care, aiming to foster deep connection with our emotions, both positive and negative, by trying to decipher their language and signals, to avoid suffocating them in a distrust that saddens them.

PEPPE VESSICCHIO
What is it that makes trees grow?
Music as a vital, invigorating, essential energy. A faithful friend that can fill even the spaces of one's inner self. Seeing notes as chemical elements that, when linked together, can interact with our bodies. Healing them. A force that can stimulate our organism, penetrating it. "A study showed that Wisconsin cows produced more milk if they listened to Mozart. I tried the same with my succulents. I noticed that after some time they needed less water to survive, as if they were nourished by something else. It's the music, I told myself. Researchers call this phenomenon the 'Mozart Effect.' Since it doesn't work with so many other famous composers, I believe it's up to us musicians to investigate and explain it. I believe the main reason lies in the special balance of Mozart's music, in the conflict-free combination in which melody, rhythm, and harmony coexist and develop, moving the air without disturbance. The notes that have found their natural place, in harmony with their surroundings, creating a music of peace. Maestro Peppe Vessicchio shares his experiences with the kids through videos, memories, and jokes. From the world of television to major film productions, Peppe Vessicchio is known to the general public for his appearances as conductor at the Sanremo Music Festival and as a music teacher and conductor on Maria De Filippi's television program Amici. He discovered aspiring tenor Matteo Macchioni on Amici. He has appeared on Maria De Filippi's web TV show Witty TV. He also wrote Andrea Bocelli's Sogno. He has arranged for Roberto Vecchioni, Andrea Bocelli, Elio e le Storie Tese, Syria, Fiordaliso, Zucchero Fornaciari, Lorella Cuccarini, Avion Travel, Ron, Biagio Antonacci, Ornella Vanoni, Fred Bongusto, Baraonna, Tom Jobim, Ivana Spagna, Max Gazzè, and Valerio Scanu. SUSANNA AFFABA
Musicality and Fitness - A Journey of Self-Awareness Between Corporeality and Listening
Music is an art that belongs to everyone and vibrates at the same frequencies as us. It can influence our personal energy, and music with a tuning fork of 432 Hz in particular can alter our vibrations and heal us. At a superficial auditory level, we perceive no difference, but at a deeper level, the body rests, repairs itself, and eliminates toxins and tension. An automatic internal change occurs, a greater relaxation that increases the ability to be more attentive, more centered.

DINA NERINO
DEEP LISTENING – Listening as active meditation
When we enter an environment where birds, insects, or animals live, they listen to us completely. They receive us. For the creatures present in that environment, our presence could mean the difference between life and death. Listening thus becomes a true survival practice! But what is our specific sound within the complex and limitless soundscape we are immersed in daily? What if there were sounds we don't perceive but that constantly pass through us and speak of our nature, our human condition, and the entire community? In a society that increasingly favors sight as a sense of openness to the world, what would it be like to discover the world through a particular form of listening, more intimate, more profound? In the "Deep Listening - Listening as Active Meditation" workshop, we will borrow in part from the teachings of composer Pauline Oliveros, a key figure in the development of avant-garde music. On the other hand, we will let ourselves be guided by the teachings of Mindwoodness, an approach that brings together many languages in order to lead the living towards a slow "reconnection with the world".
